Bermudagrass

Cynodon dactylon

Warm season grasses are best adapted to areas where temperatures reach 27°C or higher. Their tolerance of cool weather is generally poor, and they may die in low winter temperatures. Most become dormant below 10°C. Newer varieties are moving into the transition area and have improvements in texture, color, and temperature ranges.
